Velocity Systems Announces First Franchise Agreement
Elite Expediting Corporation to Initiate Franchisee Operations in Columbus, Ohio
WESTPORT, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 24, 2007-- Velocity Systems Franchising Corporation (VSFC) a subsidiary of Velocity Express Corporation (NASDAQ: VEXP), the nation's largest provider of time definite regional delivery solutions, has signed a franchise agreement with Elite Expediting Corporation to become a Velocity Express franchisee in the Columbus, OH market.
Senior Vice President of Franchising Operations Stuart Hyden, who made the announcement today, stated: "We are very excited about having Jay Floyd and his company Elite Expediting Corporation as part of our franchising program.
